Houses

When children start at Queen’s Manor they are allocated a house team which they remain in for the duration of their time at school.

Children accumulate house points over the course of the academic year. The points are added together to identify the winners each half term. At the end of the year, the house with the most points wins the team.

Golden house points are awarded during interhouse events. These are given to houses who demonstrate compassion, collaboration, community and cooperation during inter-house events, including our half termly inter-house sports championships.

The sports shield is awarded following the annual sports day.  Throughout the event children are given points for their placements in individual and team events, as well as for demonstrating good sportsmanship.

The four house teams are named after stars or constellations of birds which represent flying to the stars and having high aspiration.
