Principal's Welcome
On behalf of the team here at Queen’s Manor Primary School I would like to welcome you to our website, where I hope you will find everything you need to know about our school.
Queen’s Manor is a one-form entry primary school from Nursery to Year 6 with an additional resource in The Pavilion for up to 17 children with special educational needs. Set in a magnificent three-storey Victorian building, Queen’s Manor has three halls, large, bright classrooms, a library, art room, a dedicated performance space (with fully operational lighting and sound) and an outdoor classroom. We have two large playgrounds which have recently been re-landscaped, a MUGA sports pitch, the state-of-the-art new Pavilion, and a host of climbing frames, water features and gardened areas for our children to learn and play.
Our children are provided with a rich, broad and varied curriculum in which they gain a life-long love for learning. Irrespective of attainment, they are encouraged to do their best and are enabled to reach the highest levels of achievement possible, ensuring the academic, physical, personal, moral and spiritual enrichment of each child. We pride ourselves on our family feel, our inclusivity and our ambition for all children to become successful learners and caring citizens.
We attach great importance to the development of self-confidence, self-motivation and seek to enable children to build good relationships based on mutual respect and appreciation. Queen’s Manor School’s ethos is very positive, reflecting the care and commitment of staff, governors and children.
We are proud to be part of United Learning, and like the other schools in our group, it is our mission to bring out 'the best in everyone' – pupils, staff, parents and the wider community. As a trust, we work in close collaboration with each other and we are very well supported.
We warmly encourage you to browse through our website to discover all that we can offer your child. Please contact the school office if you would like a tour of the school or if you have any questions about Queen’s Manor Primary School.
Mr. Gibbons
