At Queen's Manor, we believe that education extends far beyond the classroom. Our enrichment programme is designed to broaden horizons, develop character, inspire ambition and ensure that every child experiences a rich and memorable primary education. Through a wide range of experiences, clubs, leadership opportunities, educational visits and community partnerships, we aim to nurture confident, resilient, knowledgeable and compassionate young people who are well prepared for the next stage of their education.

Our Enrichment Offer

Every pupil at Queen's Manor benefits from a carefully planned programme of enrichment opportunities throughout their time at school. These include:

• Educational visits linked directly to classroom learning.
• Sporting activities and competitions.
• Music, art and performance opportunities.
• Cultural experiences and visits to places of interest.
• Outdoor learning and adventurous activities.
• Leadership and service opportunities.
• Careers and aspiration-building experiences.
• Workshops that support personal development, wellbeing and life skills.

Our enrichment offer is designed to build progressively from Nursery through to Year 6, ensuring that pupils develop new knowledge, skills and experiences each year. 

Inclusion and Equality of Opportunity

We are committed to ensuring that every child can access enrichment opportunities regardless of their background, circumstances or needs.

Our approach  identifies and removes barriers to participation. Participation in clubs, trips and wider enrichment activities is monitored and reviewed regularly to ensure that all groups of pupils are represented and able to access opportunities.

To support this commitment:

• Pupil Premium pupils receive priority access to enrichment clubs where places are limited.
• Extra-curricular clubs are provided free of charge for Pupil Premium pupils.
• SEND pupils are fully supported to participate in enrichment activities.
• Reasonable adjustments are made wherever required.
• All pupils are able to participate in curriculum visits and educational experiences regardless of financial circumstances.

Keeping Families Informed

We work hard to ensure that parents and carers are kept fully informed about enrichment opportunities throughout the year.

Curriculum Newsletters

At the beginning of each term, teachers share curriculum newsletters which outline the learning pupils will be undertaking. These newsletters also include information about key educational visits, workshops and enrichment opportunities linked to the curriculum.

School Newsletter

Our regular school newsletter celebrates pupils' achievements and participation in enrichment activities. It also provides updates on events, competitions, performances, leadership opportunities and wider school experiences.

Extra-Curricular Clubs

A programme of extra-curricular clubs is published each term. Information is shared with families and bookings are managed through Arbor. Clubs vary across the year and may include sports, arts, music, languages, gardening, cooking, chess and other enrichment opportunities.

Educational Visits and Special Events

Families receive separate communications regarding trips, performances, workshops, residential visits and special events throughout the year.

Partnerships That Extend Learning

We are proud to work with a range of local and national organisations that help provide exceptional opportunities for our pupils. These partnerships enhance learning, raise aspirations and enable children to access experiences beyond those available within school alone. Examples include museums, cultural institutions, sporting organisations, charities and educational partners such as St Paul's School, Latymer Upper School and Emanuel School. 

Listening and Improving

We regularly gather feedback from pupils, parents and staff to review the quality and impact of our enrichment offer. Pupil voice, participation information and family feedback help us continually refine and improve the opportunities available to our children. This ensures that our enrichment provision remains ambitious, inclusive and responsive to the needs of our school community.
