Year 3

As we progress from Key Stage 1, Year 3 is a year full of challenges, exciting experiences and opportunities.

We are encouraged to take more responsibility for our learning and organisation as we begin our journey through Key Stage 2.

We learn about a range of topics including the Vikings and Anglo-Saxons in our ‘Invasion’ topic; the awe and wonder of the natural world in our ‘Northern Lights’ topic; and the mysteries of Ancient Egyptian civilisation in our ‘Walk Like an Egyptian’ topic. As well as many exciting trips, visits and extra-curricular opportunities, we also take part in exciting activities such as swimming and the KS2 production.
