Year 4

Year 4 is an extremely exciting year, full of many opportunities and engaging challenges.

In Year 4, we become increasingly independent and are expected to take an active role in our learning. We work both individually and in collaborative groups towards clearly identified learning targets.

We take part in many exciting topics throughout the year including the study of the Ancient Greeks in our ‘Heroes’ topic, an exploration of the natural world beyond London in ‘River Deep, Mountain High’ and the impact of human life on the wider world in ‘The Lorax’. There are many opportunities for cross curricular learning, allowing us to use and practice our skills in a range of interrelated contexts. Year 4 is a place where we can reach new goals, flourish academically and become well rounded individuals.
