Pupil Parliament
We are preparing children at Queen’s Manor to become leaders of the future. We view our pupils as stakeholders in their own education, and value their ideas and input to enhancing school life.
Alongside our Heads and Deputy Heads of Houses, Sports Captains and Vice Captains, School Ambassadors, Prefects, Digital Leaders, Play Leaders, Librarians and Eco Committee, we also have an active Pupil Parliament, with 2 elected members from each class.
They are elected at the beginning of the new school year and meet regularly to discuss a wide range of matters raised at individual class councils.
Pupil Parliament gets involved in fundraising events and they are also involved in leading whole school assemblies on a range of themes including anti-bullying, harvest, friendship and values.
Our current Y6 elected Pupil Parliament members who are voted in by their peers, lead the school council meetings. Feedback decisions and issues raised in Pupil Parliament are shared with the Leadership Team.
